About
Ninth Street Dance opened in 1993 on the belief that people of every age, shape and size can enjoy and benefit from dancing. It is not a studio for professionals; it welcomes anyone curious to explore new ways of moving. Beginners and experienced dancers alike find a supportive, non-threatening setting where they can stick with favorite styles or sample many new ones. The studio teaches a broad range of dance and movement forms with skilled, caring instructors, and schedules day, evening and weekend classes for beginning, returning and experienced students. It cites the reasons to dance as exercise, flexibility, stress relief, a stronger mind and body connection, and plain fun.
