About

Something Borrowed Something Blue, known as SBSB, is a co-ed Christian a cappella group made up of Duke University students. The group began in 1969 as a Christian folk band, switched to a cappella in 1993, and took on its wedding-themed name in 1998, drawing on the image of the church as the bride of Christ from Revelation 21. Its main purpose is to glorify God, and it sings a broad range of songs chosen to share the love of Christ, with a repertoire that reflects God's character and includes music that has shaped members' own lives. SBSB members also gather for lively game nights and take a yearly Spring Break service trip, mixing fun, service and music as they grow in faith and friendship. The group welcomes students of every background and identity and follows Duke's non-discrimination and harassment policy.
