About
Greensboro Ballet is a small professional dance company whose local and guest artists share the love of ballet as a way to express human thought and feeling. It presents two major productions a season: Greensboro's holiday tradition, The Nutcracker, and a spring performance in March. Its nonprofit School of Greensboro Ballet, in the Greensboro Cultural Center downtown, teaches classical ballet and dance to students of all ages, races and genders in a setting that balances discipline with artistic expression. Greensboro Ballet is one of the city's oldest arts institutions.
