About
The North Carolina Folk Festival is held every year in downtown Greensboro and offers three free days of music and culture. It gathers artists from North Carolina and around the world and draws more than 135,000 people each year. Performances cover many musical traditions and generations, along with cultural demonstrations, craft activities and community programs. In folklife areas, artists and culture bearers share traditions directly with visitors through storytelling, foodways, crafts and hands-on demonstrations. Sponsors, donors, partners and volunteers keep admission free so people of every age and background can attend.
