About
GreenHill Center for NC Art champions the visual artists of North Carolina and their work, reaching a wide community with exhibitions and education programs. It aims to make art accessible to everyone, including people who face barriers to having art in their daily lives, and its initiatives seek to build empathy and connection through expressive, thought-provoking experiences. GreenHill commits to diversity, equity and inclusion, with a focus on the people who live, and have lived, in the state. It describes cultural equity as making sure that all people, including those historically underrepresented because of race, ethnicity, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion and other factors, can benefit from its programs, and it works to keep its spaces and policies open to everyone.
