Craven Allen Gallery

About

Craven Allen Gallery in Durham has combined an art gallery with a framing business for more than thirty years, and it carries artists its staff genuinely believes in. The team includes John, a fine arts graduate who works with framing clients, collectors and artists; Keith, who builds frames and runs the business side; Nate, a Durham native with a strong interest in contemporary art and photography who handles artists and exhibitions; Kathryn, a painter whose layered collage animal portraits often hang in the gallery; and Mark, a painter whose framing work has ranged from historic battle flags to museum photographs of oversized scale.
