About
Located in downtown Old Fort, Arrowhead Gallery and Studios is the gallery of the Arrowhead Artists and Artisans League, a nonprofit that promotes local art and arts education. It is one of the largest galleries in Western North Carolina, showing juried work by over 50 artists, and some artists work right in the gallery. Its arrowhead name recalls the peace between the Cherokee and Catawba nations. Classes cover painting, clay and glass, and themed shows change through the year, such as one of wood sculpture, turned vessels, furniture and jewelry.
