About this event

Graham Recreation & Parks hosts a hands-on smartphone photography workshop on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 8:30am – 10:30am at the Longmeadow Trailhead of the Haw River Trail. Elizabeth Larson of Elizabeth Larson Photography teaches simple techniques and useful apps for photographing trees, plants and landscapes. Along the trail, participants hunt for letter shapes formed by branches, leaves and other natural features, marking the 20th anniversary of the Haw River Trail. The workshop is for ages 18+ and costs $20 per person. No experience is needed; bring a fully charged phone. There are no restrooms at the site and no rain date.

Listed from the organizer’s public calendar. Their listing has the full program.
