Global Rhythms: Of Love presented by Big Red Dance Project
East Building · East Building, Level B
About this event
Of Love is a modern take on 18th-century Italian songs about love, built around five vocal arias. In solos and duets, the dance looks at many sides of love, from tender and flirtatious to heartbroken and vengeful. After the show, the dancers, Outreach Coordinator Susan Hartley and Artistic Director Gerri Houlihan talk with the audience about the creative process and how movement, memory and visual art relate.
