About this event

On Saturday, November 14th, banjo player Tray Wellington performs at The Unitarian Universalist Community of Charlotte. Wellington, who has won an International Bluegrass Music Association Award, takes a forward-looking approach to the banjo and is praised by critics both for his technical skill and for using his own point of view to build a distinct voice on the instrument, something the source notes is rare in roots music that often favors imitation. Jams start at 5:30 PM and the concert begins at 7:00 PM.
