About

The Durham Performing Arts Center, or DPAC, presents major touring shows and stars in a 2,700-seat theater. Each season brings Broadway productions, concerts, comedy, family shows and special events, with more than 250 performances and up to 600,000 guests a year. Since 2010 it has regularly ranked among the top ten theaters in the U.S. and has won the IEBA Theater of the Year Award. Nederlander and Professional Facilities Management run DPAC under a long-term agreement with the City of Durham, and since opening in 2008 it has generated over $1 billion in measured economic impact.
