About
Boone Saloon opened on Feb 25th, 2004, in a building stripped back to show its bones, with a 25-foot live-edge bar carved from a white oak. It has a stage, jukeboxes, pool tables, pinball and a Game Changer Arcade downstairs, plus the Big Deck outside. It calls itself the original soccer bar of the High Country, started Taco Tuesday in 2005, and taps a rare keg every Wednesday. After the owners helped legalize liquor by the drink in Boone in August of 2008, it added Sunday brunch. Live music has typically run two or three nights a week.
