About
Meredith College in west Raleigh hosts a series of summer music camps run through its Community School of Music. Offerings have included several piano camps, an intensive piano camp ending in a grand finale recital, a high school music theory camp for older students, and a composition-focused camp for ambitious young composers interested in musical analysis. Camps are taught by Meredith instructors on the college campus, and most run for one or two weeks as half-day or full-day sessions. Registration links are posted with each camp description, and some programs require an interview or audition. The camps suit young pianists and serious music students who want focused summer study.
