UNC School of the Arts- Summer Piano Intensive
- Region
About
The UNCSA Summer Piano Intensive is a summer program for young pianists at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem. Alongside the inaugural North Carolina Piano Festival, it offers one- to three-week options for pianists ages 12 to 25, combining immersive study with performance opportunities for both emerging and more experienced players. The school's performance halls house a collection of Steinway concert grand pianos. A dedicated practice area provides soundproof rooms with grand pianos for practice. It is a good fit for young pianists who want a focused stretch of summer study and performance.
