About
Voice of Clayton is a voice studio in Clayton led by teacher Julie Stewart, offering voice lessons for children from age 8 through adults, held weekly during the school year, with virtual lessons by Zoom also available. Stewart taught the Kindermusik early-childhood music program in Clayton for about 30 years, until those classes ended in November 2022. She studied vocal performance at Kent State University and has decades of singing and performing experience. In summer the studio runs short in-person voice camps on themes such as Broadway and musical theatre, covering song selection, solos and group singing, staging, simple choreography and vocal technique, with a performance for families on the last day.
