About
The Department of Music at Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs offers instruction by experienced professionals, connections with visiting performers, and many chances to perform in small and large ensembles. Students can earn a Bachelor of Arts in Music or a Bachelor of Music, with the BM offering emphases in performance, composition, education, traditional or contemporary worship, and the business side of the music industry. Graduates go on to careers in performance, ministry, education, composition and the music business. The National Association of Schools of Music accredits the university as a member. Ensembles are open to all Gardner-Webb students, not only music majors, and they perform for the campus and the wider community. Gardner-Webb is a Christian university.
