Fortnight opened in 2014 in downtown Cary, after Stuart Arnold left England for the U.S., missed traditional English beer and began brewing it in his garage with David Wilkinson, also from England. The brewery sits on a private 5-acre wooded lot with a nine hole disc golf course. It has two taprooms, one styled as a traditional English pub and one as a modern take on it, each with 24 taps and three cask engines serving ales and stouts the English way. The bars also carry whiskeys, bourbons, cocktails, slushies, wine and kombucha, and a covered patio has fans and heaters. Food trucks rotate daily, dogs are welcome, and live entertainment plays on Saturdays.
