About

Main Street Vinyl has been Downtown Burlington's independent record store since 2016, a home for records, turntables and the town's music community. Ed & Kate Meyer took over as owners in October 2023 and continue to build on the shop's place in Burlington. The store's values are equality and kindness, and it welcomes longtime collectors and first-time buyers alike, without gatekeeping or judgment. It stocks new and used vinyl in every genre, from rock, jazz and blues to hip-hop, country, electronic and soundtracks, along with new and used turntables and record players, stereo equipment and supplies. The shop also offers professional ultrasonic record cleaning, buys and trades records and equipment, and hosts free community events and listening nights during the year.
