About
King Canary Brewing Co. is a family friendly microbrewery in Mooresville, opened in May 2018 by Matt and Andrea Gravina after they left corporate jobs and moved their family to North Carolina. The brewery fills a remodeled 4,500-square-foot multi-story home. Matt brought the brewing passion and Andrea the interior design and branding, and the place quickly drew notice around Lake Norman and the Charlotte area. Matt died unexpectedly in August 2019. With support from the community, family and staff, Andrea and her team kept the brewery growing. Reminders of family run through the branding and the building, and some of Matt's favorite traditions are still part of how the beer is brewed.
