About
Denzel Davon is a rapper with a slick East Coast style. His 2023 project "Y'all Boys Got It" was made with Jonny Onetime as producer, pairing Onetime's smooth beats with Davon's energetic presence for a summer release. The tracklist is short, and its intensity makes it easy to play again and again. It shows off Onetime as a careful, minimalist producer and Davon's knack for filling those beats with lively, shifting bars and delivery from the first track to the last. The two are well matched, each pushing every new song further. It is lean and carefully curated with nothing wasted, the project shows two artists who know what works, and it makes following them wherever they go an easy choice.
