About
NSTASIA is an R&B artist whose layered, detailed songs rest on solid pop structures. She grew up in Asheville, North Carolina, spending much of her childhood in recording studios. After moving to Atlanta for college she became a songwriter for other artists, signing a publishing deal and writing for names such as Usher and Major Lazer. In Los Angeles she began recording under her own name, and her 2015 Sony/ATV single "Here in My Skin" was used in an episode of Being Mary Jane. Her debut album, New Religion, came out in late 2017 with a dreamier, more adventurous take on her songwriting and production inspired by Frank Ocean; its single "Parachute" was produced with Skrillex. She followed with stand-alone singles and the 2025 EP Girl.
