About
Donnell Isaac is an inspirational R&B/soul singer whose voice blends classic soul with contemporary feeling. His debut album, "New Moments New Choice," arrived in 2008. A 2010 distribution deal with Indie Charts/Kingdom Records followed, and his single "Shelter from The Storm" spent more than 16 weeks on the Radio BDS 100 charts. His remake of "I Won't Complain" won him the 2014 Chosen Voice Award for Best New Artist. He began singing at age nine in a church choir in Portsmouth, Virginia, and his songs, such as "It's My Season," carry messages of hope, perseverance and empowerment. He has also acted on Law & Order and in the film My Brother, and performed at community venues including the YWCA of Newark.
