About
Donnie Doolittle is a North Carolina artist making moody, synth-led anthems that sit between dark retro-pop and melancholy rock and roll. Over about five years he has drawn fans with a playful take on darkness, setting bright melodies inside ominous, cinematic soundscapes. Press have called it "Southern New-Wave" and "Goth Americana," and his sound has been likened to Nick Cave, Orville Peck, Iggy Pop and Leonard Cohen. His releases come with carefully shaped imagery and narrative videos. His debut album came out in 2023, followed by the single and video "All The Hell."
