About
Sycamore Bones is a North Carolina quintet that has played venues around the region for ten years, moving between alt-country, folk, rock and Americana in energetic shows. Audiences know the band for strong three-part harmonies, honest lyrics and a magnetic stage presence, and its sound has been compared to John Prine, Wilco, REM, Watchhouse and Old 97s. The band recently finished its second full-length album, "The Trouble, With Love," a concept record about different stages of love that keeps the storytelling and adds a touch of 90's alternative rock, ranging from fuzzy to folky.
