About
Founded in Raleigh by bassist and lead singer Ben Byrom, this band plays loud, gritty Southern rock laced with bluegrass, funk and blues, and its members see themselves as storytellers. The group draws on the gothic mood of Fleetwood Mac, the skill of Andrew Bird and the creative drive of Spoon. With a sound that is tight but rowdy, the band suits both outdoor festivals and basement bars.
