About Clemmons
Clemmons is a village in southwestern Forsyth County, a suburb of Winston-Salem that sits just east of the Yadkin River. Lewisville lies to the north and Bermuda Run to the west, and Interstate 40 runs through the middle of the village. Its best-known spot is Tanglewood Park, which has an arboretum and rose garden and puts on a seasonal Festival of Lights. The village also has the Clemmons Library and is home to West Forsyth High School, the county’s biggest high school. It is governed by a mayor and five council members with a village manager. Teacher’s remarks
The Ray Arts Index gives extra weight to local government support and arts education, because public investment in the arts, and in teaching it, is how creative communities grow.
