About
The Wine Loft is a wine bar in Charlotte's South End with more than 50 wines by the glass and over 100 by the bottle, mostly from smaller producers chosen for value. A full bar adds a long whiskey and bourbon list, craft cocktails and local beer, and the kitchen serves changing small plates such as charcuterie boards and flatbreads. Live music is a regular part of the room, with local and national artists playing Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings in its intimate lounge. The bar also runs wine flights, tastings and bottle releases. The approach to wine is relaxed and unpretentious, with staff glad to teach and learn alongside guests. Reservations are recommended on weekends and for special events.
