About
Trailside Brewing opened in May 2023 in the renovated Lennox Station in Hendersonville, NC, a historic building first built in 1915 as a hosiery mill. It sits on the Ecusta Trail, a former rail line that will one day link Hendersonville to Brevard. The brewery started out in the Socius Beer Collective, and in July 2025 David and Colleen Schnitzer bought it to shape it into a gathering hub for the Western North Carolina community. Today it is a gathering place to share a pint, eat well, hear live music and meet friends and family. The taproom pours 16 beers alongside wine and non-alcoholic options, Trailside Table is the restaurant, The Grove is an event space for up to 250 guests, and the outdoor beer garden has two fire pits and gardens where many warm-season events happen under the stars. Community events include trivia, live music, bingo and fly-tying.
