About

Feed and Seed occupies the former Fletcher Supply Co., a building that has stood in downtown Fletcher for more than a hundred years, 5 miles south of Asheville. After careful restoration it is now a nondenominational church, a gathering place for the community, and a weekend stage for Appalachian music, bluegrass and classic country. Where it once sold feed, it now aims to feed the soul through music and inspiration, and all are welcome. Pastor Phillip, a music major at University of North Carolina-Asheville who earned his MDiv at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, began leading the congregation in 1997; it moved into the building in 2007.
