The Wild Robot (2024) screens on the field at Wilson Ballpark in a free series presented by Wilson County Tourism with Wilson Arts, Imagination Station, The Whirligig Park and Downtown Wilson. In the film, a sentient robot stranded on an empty island raises an orphaned gosling and tries to fit in with the wildlife. Gates open at 6:00 pm and the movie starts at 7:00 pm. Beach chairs are recommended, and concessions sell beer and food. Entry is only through the Left Field Gate. Kids 15 and under need an adult 21+ with them. The ballpark is cashless, guests stay in the outfield, and pets, tents, tarps, stakes, heaters and wagons on the field are not allowed.
