About
Wilson Jazz Fest, now in its fourth year, brings jazz programming to the streets of downtown Wilson. Community and accessibility sit at its core: sponsors make a full day of free events possible at local venues, while headlining acts play a ticketed main stage in the Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park. The Second Line March invites everyone to parade through the streets after the last main stage set at Edna Boykin Cultural Center, with instruments, umbrellas, tambourines and other props encouraged. The Jazz Jam Tent lets musicians play alongside the featured performers.
