About
Falls River Music is a music school and shop in North Raleigh, just off the 540 freeway, run by musician Steve and his wife Michelle. It serves students across the Triangle with private lessons for a wide range of instruments, including guitar, bass, drums, piano and voice, for students as young as 5 through adults. Most lessons are weekly one-on-one sessions, with some small-group options, and new students can start with a trial lesson. In summer, the school runs week-long day camps for beginner and intermediate players ages 8 and up, where kids are grouped by age and ability to form bands, learn songwriting and recording, and perform live on stage. The shop also rents band and orchestra instruments for school programs and offers repairs and accessories. It suits families looking for one place to learn, rent and play.
