Greensboro College's Department of Music

About
The Department of Music at Greensboro College, a small private college in downtown Greensboro, develops students' musical knowledge, talent, skills and teaching abilities. Its degree program prepares graduates to work as professional musicians or music teachers. Because the school is smaller than many competitors, music students get more chances to perform in musicals and operas, to gain teaching experience and to work one-on-one with professional musicians. Entrance and scholarship auditions are held on set dates in late winter and spring, including Fine Arts Day, with other arrangements possible. The campus includes the Huggins Performance Center, the Parlor Theatre and several galleries.
