About
NC State University's Electronic Music Production Camp is a summer camp for high school students who already make their own electronic music with software and have some music theory background. Run by the university's Department of Performing Arts and Technology, it is open to rising 9th through 12th graders and goes deeper than the department's introductory music technology camp. Campers compose using Ableton Live alongside other software and hardware, and work closely with faculty on complex effects, mixing, creating sounds from scratch and expanding their theory and composition skills. Every class is hands-on. The department also offers other high school programs, including a Day of Dance and a High School Band Day.
