UNC School of the Arts- Summer Voice Intensive
- Region
About
The UNCSA Summer Voice Intensive is a three-week residential program for singers at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, covering classical, musical theatre and folk styles. Working with faculty, alumni and guest artists, students learn to sing healthily, confidently and authentically through private lessons, group classes, Alexander Technique, yoga and drama. The program also helps singers refine their audition package and record a prescreen audition in UNCSA's performance facilities, with guidance on next steps. Its tagline is "Your Voice, Your Art, Your Story." UNCSA summer intensives end with a performance or showcase open to family and friends.
