About
Lexington Live Community Theatre is the newest performing arts group in Davidson County. It took shape around a committee table in 2018 and staged its first season in 2019 at Lexington's Edward C. Smith Civic Center, with "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" and Closer Than Ever. The company sets out to educate, enrich and entertain by drawing together Lexington's diverse community through the performing arts. It gives people across Lexington and Davidson County chances to take part in, and help create, high quality community theater, and sees an inclusive, multi-generational theater program with regular productions as part of the city's downtown revitalization.
