About
The North Carolina Baroque Orchestra, NCBO, performs Baroque masterworks under its Musical Director, Frances Blaker. Its programs have included orchestral music of the Italian Baroque, such as Vivaldi's mandolin concerto and Spring and Summer from "The Four Seasons." NCBO also collaborates with choirs: it has joined the Winston-Salem Choral Artists for J.S. Bach's Mass in B minor, the Trinity Cathedral choirs for Bach Vespers featuring Buxtehude, and the choirs of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Columbia, SC, for Bach's St. John Passion. At the Davidson Bach Festival it has performed concertos and chamber music by Bach, including Brandenburg Concerto No. 5.
