About
Booneshine Brewing Co. began with a conversation at a Boone yogurt shop on January 8th, 2012, after years of homebrewing in Carson's carport. A friend suggested the name, a play on moonshine, and the mission became making the High Country better: Make Boone Shine. Booneshine opened in July 2015 beside Basil's restaurant, with three 10bbl fermenters in 1,200 square feet, and quickly added more tanks and mobile canning. In late 2017 it bought property in East Boone, moved brewing there by mid-2018 with more than double the capacity, and opened its tasting room and restaurant in July 2019.
