About

The Dead Crow Comedy Room is a comedy club with roots in the Nutt St. Comedy Room, which ran from 2008 in the basement of the Soapbox Laundro-Lounge until both closed in 2013. Timmy Sherrill and Cole Craven, who had worked together at those spots, launched Dead Crow in 2014 in a dark basement on Front Street. In 2021 the club moved to busy Third Street, where its showroom is far bigger than the original and sits alongside Lush Garden Bar. Live comedy runs Thursday through Saturday, with weekly events that bring in nationally recognized comics, performers known from film and television, and newer acts on the rise. Before or after a show, guests can settle into Lush, which has a warm indoor bar and lounge with sofas and a landscaped outdoor beer garden served by rotating food trucks.
