About
The Depot in Marshall is a music gathering place whose building, seen in photos of floods from 1916 and the 1940s, was destroyed when Hurricane Helene hit the town. Rebuilding is underway, helped by a GoFundMe that raised over $21,000 and a new Depot nonprofit. Its regular events carry on elsewhere for now: a Saturday get-together for pickin' and dancing at 6:30pm at the Twist Again Dance Barn, a Thursday Acoustic Jam at the same barn at 7:00pm, and the Monday night Strictly Bluegrass jam, now held at Mal's in downtown Marshall at 6:30pm.
