About
The Eddy is a pub and restaurant in Saxapahaw, housed in what was the Dye Lab of the old textile mill, with views over the Haw River. Opened in 2010, it was part of the village's revitalization and was modeled on the village pubs of England, meant to be a welcoming gathering place, a kind of living room for the community. The space reuses many parts of the old mill. The kitchen works with local farmers to serve locally and sustainably raised food, and the Farm Table Room hosts meetings and private dinners for up to 40 people.
