About
The Charlotte Museum of History tells the story of the people and things that shaped the Charlotte region and teaches a broad audience about the founding of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County. Four indoor galleries hold rotating exhibits on the region's history and change over time. Visitors can also walk into the Revolutionary-era buildings of the 1774 Homesite, and groups can book private tours of the exhibits or of the 1774 Rock House.
