About
The Fine Arts League of Cary is a member-led group that has supported visual artists and art lovers in the Triangle for more than 20 years. It helps area artists grow and raises public awareness of visual art. The league holds annual juried exhibitions at the Page-Walker center for arts and history, where regional artists compete for display and awards, and runs the Wake County Teen Exhibition for young artists. Members can show work in rotating exhibits at galleries, community centers and other public venues across the Triangle. Workshops and classes cover many techniques and media, and critiques and roundtables give artists feedback and talk about contemporary art. Monthly meetings often include guest speakers, demonstrations and social time. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in art, whether patrons, emerging artists or masters.
