About
Theatre for All (TFA) is a theatre company for people with disabilities who love the stage. It was founded in 2014 by Gina Gambony, Kim Henry and Dylan Patterson, beginning with outreach at Laney High School and a class for the community at TheatreNOW; the first company performance came in June 2015. TFA offers wide-ranging theater education, produces plays and short films for the public, and brings theatre into New Hanover County Schools classrooms, free of charge, for students with disabilities. Since its start it has tripled membership, doubled its performances, and added a choir, a dance company and a program that trains leaders. As an official vendor for NC Vocational Rehabilitation, it also provides training and jobs in the arts. Company performers are 18 and older.
