About
The Towne Players formed in 1998 to make people in Garner and across Wake County more aware of the performing arts. A board of citizens from Garner and the greater Triangle leads this community theatre, which stages four plays a year and offers theatre classes for children. Its mission is "To involve, develop, and enrich our diverse local community by producing traditional, engaging, and challenging theatre." Anyone interested in theatre is invited to take part, onstage or behind the scenes.
