About
The Porter Center for Performing Arts is the music and theatre building of Brevard College. Its centerpiece, Scott Concert Hall, seats 700 and is praised for its acoustics; music and theatre students both rehearse and perform there. The large stage has room for a full symphony, yet it is equally used for solo performances, rehearsals and senior recitals. The hall also hosts musical and theatrical productions, campus-wide events, celebrations and galas.
