About
Old Armor Beer Company is a brewery in downtown Kannapolis owned and run by combat veterans. Each year it dedicates 12 of its beers to charitable foundations that support veterans, first responders and the community. Its "Pay It Forward Board" lets anyone prepay a pint for a first responder or veteran, which is waiting when that person comes in. The owners describe themselves as their own toughest critics, adapting each brew the way they learned to adapt in the service. The lineup includes Stinger Ale, made for Charlotte Hornets game nights; Earnhardt Outdoors Ale, honoring the Earnhardt Heritage; and Stewart Haas Summer Ale for racing fans and hot days. The brewery also posts events on its events page.
