About this event
Held every year on the first Saturday in May, rain or shine, the 51st Annual Wooden Boat Show is the oldest-running show of its kind in the southeast. The free event honors North Carolina's tradition of building wooden boats. Visitors will find dozens of handcrafted boats on display, nautical demonstrations, and activities for children, with something for all ages whether or not they like being on the water.
