This school-day showing by MOMIX is sold out. The dance piece follows the changing seasons and the course of a single day, pairing athletic movement with large-scale stage effects, set to music ranging from birdsong to Vivaldi. It runs about 60 minutes, is recommended for Grades K-12, and comes with a study guide; school tickets were $5/person. A full-length show open to the public is at 7:30pm that evening, in the 2026/2027 season of Appalachian Arts. MOMIX, directed by Moses Pendleton and based in Washington, Connecticut, has spent more than 45 years building work from fabric, light, props, shadow and the human body, and has appeared at the 2014 Sochi Olympic Closing Ceremony.
