The Haunting Hour

About this event
The Haunting Hour replaces the old Spirits Tours with an immersive evening of ghost stories and local legends performed at the historic Hughes Academy, presented jointly by the Orange Community Players and the Alliance for Historic Hillsborough. An add-on, Tales from the Grave, is a short moonlit walking tour of the graveyard at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church. There is also a FREE paint-your-own-pumpkin table at Last Fridays. It takes place October 30th, 2026, with Haunting Hour performances at 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, 8pm and 9pm and Tales From the Grave from 5pm to 8:30pm. The Haunting Hour costs $20/person and $10/child; the graveyard add-on is $10.
